MZ-2 Progress
Pete Santos has agreed to proceed with the MZ-2 project. Indeed, this is a glorious day for all in Teck Software. I am currently attempting to recruit a very tallented artist to the cause, stay tuned!

MZ-2 Specifics Part 2
Ok, so I know it's been awhile, but I have finally sat down and hammered out the details for 100% certainty. Here's what we know at this point:
-Masta Zeta 2 WILL be a 2D top down space scroller with elements of RPG and RTS thrown in.
-MZ2 WILL be coded primarily using C++
-MZ2 WILL utilize the Allegro game programming library (currently version 5.0.8)
-MZ2 WILL be capable of resolutions up to 1920x1080
-MZ2 WILL support both OpenGL and Direct3D
I would also like to take this time to welcome Bob Jones to the Masta Zeta development team. Bob will be the lead tester for the game going forward.

MZ-2 Specifics
Well, I have decided on going with C++ for this first attempt at the Masta Zeta remake, due to the choice of the allegro library. Since I have now finished school, I have some time to devote to working on some projects. I welcome Peter Santos to the team. Pete will be working on the network code once I get to that stage. In the meantime, I'm still looking for an artist to help on the project.

Dreams
I have had a serious dream, I dreamt of a comet in the sky, all persuasive, unavoidable, resolute in the heavens. I had a dream of a dream, that the world was in an apocalypse, and nothing that pure dread was instilled upon myself, for this comet was, in my dream of a dream, something that would mean the end of civilization. I wonder, what does this mean? I wonder, what are dreams? This dream has given me such a fright as no dream has since I was a child...

Language Choices
I am slightly heading towards attempting to make MZ2 in C#. I've been reading up on the classes and in particular polymorphism and inheritance with regard to C# and they are quite powerful indeed. However, I am much more confident and familiar with C / C++. Decisions, decisions...
